Footsteps in the Snow

Cross-country skiing and biathlon are an undisputed strongpoint of Dobbiaco – and a supreme passion of the Santer family. Just behind the hotel you’ll find the Cross-country stadium with ski rental and a cross-country skiing school. Ole Einar Bjoerndalen, Olympic champion and son-in-law of the Santers – is a trainer there, along with his wife Nathalie and her sisters Saskia and Stephanie. But don’t worry; this area is not for professional skiers only! Indeed, besides the trimmed FIS-tracks in Dobbiaco you’ll also find plenty more ski-runs for differing levels of ability, all immersed in the awe-inspiring countryside of the Dolomites and accompanied by with the excellent supporting service of professional trainers.
